had a talk with a dear friend. for her sake and in order not to spoil her plans, let us just call her "marie".

marie is getting really fed up with her work and the people at her work. she feels that she has no other recourse but go for a change by leaving her "hellhole" (as she calls it). you see, even i noticed her hapless situation. she's no longer the happy person that she was. comparing how she looked then, a prune would look better. her self-esteem has also dropped to nil. it seems she has been through a lot.

well, she had. basing from what she recounted to me, it is fair to say that, she does not deserve what she is going through. she even asked me if she was just being plain sensitive about it and i almost shouted at her when i told her that she is not overreacting.

finally, she sought my advice.
